The 2024 Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are mechanical twins. Same TNGA-K platform. Same 2.5L A25A-FXS engine. Same THS-II hybrid system. Same eCVT. Same chassis tune. Same 5,005mm length. Same Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The only meaningful technical difference is the front-end styling and a slight skew in volume trim mix.

So why does this decision still matter? Because for diaspora-funded SL buyers committing LKR 50M+, what the car presents as is half the purchase decision.

Mechanically, refinement-wise, comfort-wise — there is nothing to choose. Buy the face you want.
